ORDINANCE NQ, 931
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD ADDING SECTION 19-120 TO THE CITY
CODE OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD IMPOSING PARKING REGU-
LATIONS ON CERTAIN STREETS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD HEREBY DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 19-120 hereby is added to the City Code of the City of Lynwood to
read as follows:
Sec. 19-120, Parking Regulations on Certain Streets
The City Council may from time to time designate, by ordinance or by
resolution, any street or any portion thereof as an area in which:
(a) Parking is prohibited aLtogether;
(b) Between the hours of 7 a, m, and 6 p, m, of any day except
Sundays and Holidays, parking for a period of time longer
than one hour is prohibited; or
(c) Between the hours of 7 a, m, and 6 p, m, of any day except
Sundays and Holidays, parking for a period of time tonger
than two hours is prohibited.
When authorized signs are in place giving notice thereof, no person shall
stop, stand, or park any vehicle upon any ofthe streets or parts thereof described
in subsection(a) hereof, When authorized signs are in place giving notice thereof,
no person shall stop, stand, or park any vehicle on any ofthe streets or parts
thereof designated pursuant to subsection (b) hereof between the hours of 7 a, m.
and 6 p, m, of any day except Sundays and Holidays for a period of time longer
than one hour. When authorized signs are in place giving notice thereof, no
person shall stop, stand, or park any vehicle on any ofthe streets or parts
thereof designated pursuant to subsection (c) hereof between the hours of 7 a. m.
and 6 p, m, of any day except Sundays and Holidays for a period of time longer
than two hours.
The City Clerk is hereby ordered and directed to certifytothe passage
of this ordinance and to cause same to be published once in the Lynwood Press,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and circulated in the City
of Lynwood.
First read at a regular meeting of the City Council of said City held on
the 6th day of February , 1973, and adopted and ordered published at a
regular meeting of said Council held on the 20th day of February 1973, by the
following vote:

Noes: Councilmen None
