RESOLUTION NO. 80 -1878
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TEMPLE CITY REQUESTING ADDITIONAL LAW ENFORCEMENT
SERVICES WITHIN THE CITY 'OF TEMPLE CITY FROM THE
LOS ANGELES COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT UNDER THE
LAW' ENFORCEMENT SERVICES' AGREEMENT
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1° The City Council of the City of Temple City, pursuant
to the terms and provisions of the Law Enforcement Services Agreement,
effective April 9, 1980, and entered into by and between the County
of. Los Angeles and the City of Temple City, does hereby request the
County of Los Angeles, through the County Sheriff's Department, to
provide additional law enforcement service, said services being in
addition to those heretofore requested by the Law Enforcement Services
Agreement.
SECTION: 2. In addition to the general law enforcement services
now being provided to the City of Temple City pursuant to the Law
enforcement Services Agreement, the City Council hereby requests:
(a) business license investigation and enforcement services
when - -.requested by the City, together with other services
necessarily related thereto,
(b) traffic control service.
SECTION 3. It is hereby requested that the Board of Supervisors
qr its designated agent or agency approve and authorize the perfor-
mance`.of services requested in this resolution, subject to the terms
and conditions set forth in the Law Enforcement Services Agreement
effective April 9, 1980.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk is directed to forward a certified
copy of this resolution to the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors, to
the County Sheriff's Office, and to the Chief Administrative Office,
County of Los Angeles.
