Members present: Mayor, Thomas Anderson; Councilmembers, William Reiser, Thomas Crosby, Nancy Laurent; Clerk —Treasurer, Donna Roehl Members absent: Councilmember, Sarah Lutz 1. SANITARY LANDFILL Members discussed the following with regards to the proposed expansion of Woodlake Sanitary Landfill: Some form of assurance either in the form of a bond or whatever, that private water systems will be protected after the landfill ceases. This would apply to the municipal water system of Loretto. Property shall remain on the tax rolls after the landfill closes. No other site shall be considered in the City of Medina as a landfill site. The city should receive some sort of compensation from the County if they were to consider the landfill expansion, favorably, either in the form of direct compensation or perhaps the construction of a north —south road. Thomas Crosby will draft a letter stressing the above points. 2. ZONING ORDINANCE Council asked that the third paragraph, Section 409 be deleted, as they,do not want the city to require driveways be built to specifications for emergency vehicles. 3. BUDGET Remainder of the meeting was spent reviewing the proposed budget. Motion by Reiser, seconded by Crosby to adjourn. Motion declared carried Meeting adjourned at 10:00 P.M.
