Q AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AMENDING
3 SECTION 11.76 OF THE LYNWOOD CITY CODE TO
¢ ESTABLISH INCREASED AMOUNTS AS PERMIT FEES
5 FOR THE INSTALLATION OR ALTERATION OF
6 ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT.

$ The City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
9 ordain as follows:
10 Section 1. Section 11.76 of the Lynwood City Code is
11 amended to read as follows:
12 "Seetion 11.76. FEES.
13 "a) Before any permit is granted for the installa tion
14 or alteration of the electrical equipment, the person making
15 the application for the permit shall pay a fee in the amount as
16 specified below:
17 "For issuing each permit $ 5.00
1g "For each switch, receptacle, and lighting
outlet .30

"For each lighting fixture, socket or lamp
20 holding device .30
21 "For each permanently installed appliance with
1/4 h.p. motor or less (i.e. range, oven,
22 garbage grinder, dishwasher, heater, fan
etc.) 1.50

"For each motor, generator, transformer,
~} welder, rectifier, converter, capacitor,
and other apparatus, (rating in h.p. or
Q,5 k.w. or k.v.a.)
26 up to and including 1 1.50
over 1 and including 5 3.00

"For each mercury arc lamp and equipment 4.00

$ "b) When a plancheck is necessary and electrical plans
9 are submitted for checking, a plancheck fee equal to fi£ty per-
10 cent of the permit fee may be charged.
il Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby ordered and
12 directed to certify to the passage of this ordinance and to
13 cause the same to be published once in the Lynwood Press, a
14 newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
15 circulated in the City o£ Lynwood.
16 First read at a regular meeting of the City Counc il of
17 said city held on the 20th day of July, 1971, and finally a dopted
1$ and ordered published at a regular meeting of said Council held
19 on the 3rd day of August, 1971, by the following vote:
20 Ayes: Councilmen Byork, Green, Liewer, Stevens
21 Noes: Councilmen None.
