2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AMENDING
3 SECTION 29.11 OF ARTICLE III OF THE LYNWOOD
4 CITY CODE TO ALLOCATE CIGARETTE TAXES
5 BETWEEN CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND AND THE
s GENERAL FUND.

8 The City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
9 ordain as follows:
10 Section L Section 29.11 of the Lynwood City Code is
11 amended to read as follows:
12 "Section 29.11. Allocation of Funds. Al1 revenues
13 received by the City from State Allocated cigarette taxes shall be
14 allocated as follows:
15 "a. To the Capital Fund, $25,000 annually.
16 "b. All rest and residue to the General Fund.
17 "All revenues received under the provisions of this
18 subparagraph a in any fiscal year shall be allocated to the
19 Capital Improvement Fund and used only for capital improvements,
20 new equipment, approved replacement items, land acquisition and
ZL retirement of general obligation bonds."
22 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby ordered and directe
23 to certify to the passage of this ordinance and to cause the same
~] to be published once in the Lynwood Press, a newspaper of general
~ circulation, printed, published and circulated in the City of
Zg Lynwood.
24 First read at a regular meeting of the City Councii of
28 said city held on the 20th day of July, 1971, and finally
29 adopted and ordered published at a regular meeting of said
