2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD EXTENDING
3 INTERIM ORDINANCE N0. 887 OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
4 TEMPORARILY AMENDING CHAPTERS III, IV, V AND VI
5 OF ORDINANCE N0. 570 AND SECTION 8.22 OF THE
s LYNWOOD CITY CODE PROHIBITING THE REMOVAL OF
7 ANY BUILDING OR STRUCTURE FROM A POINT OUTSIDE
8 THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AND
9 SETTING DOWN, PUTTING OR PLACING SAID BUILDING
10 OR STRUCTURE THUS REMOVED ON ANY LOT OR PARCEL
11 OF LAND WITHIN THE CITY OF LYNWOOD WHICI~ IS
12 LOCATED IN ANY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, AND PROHIBITING
13 THE REMOVAL OF ANY BUILDING OR STRUCTURE FROM
14 ANY LOT OR PARCEL OF LAND WITHIN THE CITY
15 LIMITS OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD TO ANOTHER LOT
16 OR PARCEL OF LAND WITHIN THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
17 LOCATED IN ANY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, AND PROHIBITING
18 THE BUILDING OFFICIAL OR BUILDING INSPECTOR OF
19 THE CITY OF LYNWOOD FROM ISSUING OR GIVING
20 PERMISSION TO ANY PERSON, FIRM OR CORPORATION
21 TO MOVE ANY BUILDING OR STRUCTURE, OR ANY
~ PORTION THEREOF, OVER, UPON, ALONG OR ACROSS
23 ANY STREET IN ANY RESIDENTIAL ZONE OF TFIE CITY
2A OF LYNWOOD AND EXTENDING INTERIM ORDINANCE N0.
25 889 AMENDING SECTION 2 OF ORDINANCE No. 887 TO
26 REQUIRE ANY PERSON MOVING A BUILDING LOCATED
27 IN THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AND TO BE RELOCATED
~ OUTSIDE THE CITY TO OBTAIN A HOUSEMOVER'S
29 PERMIT FROM THE BUILDING OFFICIAL OR BUILDING
30 INSPECTOR, FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR AFTER NOTICE.

32 The City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby

1 ordain as follows:
2 Section l. Pursuant to notice heretofore given in
3 accordance with Sections 6584 and 6856 of the Government Code
4 and following a public hearing conducted this lst day of June,
5 1971, Ordinances Nos. 887 and 889 are hereby extended for a
6 period of one year pursuant to Section 65858 of the Government
7 Code and said Ord~nances shall remain in full force and effect
8 for the said period of one year unless superseded by another
9 ordinance.
10 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby ordered and
11 directed to certify to the passage of this ordinance and to
12 cause the same to be published once in the Lynwood Press, a
13 newspaper of general circulation, printed and published in the
14 City of Lynwood.
15 First read and finally adopted and ordered published
16 at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Lynwood
17 held on tYie lst day of June, 1971, by the following vote:
18 Ayes: Councilmen Byork, Green, Liewer, Siokos, Stevens.
19 Noes: None.
20 Absent:None.
