RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING HART -FREDERICK CONSULTANTS TO PROCEED
WITH PREPARING THE REQUIRED REPORTS, DESIGN; PLANS &
SPECIFICATIONS AND CONTRACT DOCUMENTS FOR THE WASTEWATER
TREATMENT PLANT EXPANSION PROJECT IN AND FOR THE CITY OF TIFFIN,
IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Tiffin recognizes the importance of preparing for the City's future
residential, commercial and possible industrial growth and the impact on the current WWTP plus
the importance of complying with DNR's forthcoming regulations.
WHEREAS, the City of Tiffin wants Hart -Frederick Consultants P.C. to proceed with the said
Design, Plans, Specifications and Contract Documents and required Reports and Permitting.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TIFFIN, IOWA, that Hart -Frederick Consultants P.C., is hereby ordered to proceed with the
project planning and design for the Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion Project; to prepare
required Reports, Plans, Specifications, and Contract Documents as needed to obtain permits for
the letting of said project.
On the 8th day of October, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Councilperson Kahler introduced Resolution No. 2014-127,
and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by CouncilpersonRyan.
AYE: Kahler, Ryan, Petersen
NAY: Bartels, Upton
ABSENT: NONE
Passed by the City Council on the 8th day of October, 2014.
