A RESOLUTION OF THE LYNWOOD CITY COUNCIL TO APPROVE AN
AMENDMENT TO THE DEVELOPMENT AND DISPOSITION (DDA) WITH
HABITAT FOR HUMANITY OF GREATER LOS ANGELES FOR 4267
FERNWOOD AVENUE
WHEREAS, The Lynwood City Council desires to provide affordable
housing opportunities for very low, low, and moderate income individuals and
families; and
WHEREAS, The homes proposed at 4267 Fernwood Avenue will provide
affordable housing for three families and assist the City in meeting its housing
goals; and
WHEREAS, The 4267 Fernwood Avenue project meets the federal
program guidel'ines for the HOME program; and
NOW THEREFORE, The Lynwood City Council does hereby find,
proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. The Lynwood City Council approves the Amendment to the
Disposition and Developmen Agreement with Habitat for Humanity.
Section 2. The Lynwood City Council authorizes the expenditure of
HOME funds of $31,109 and an additional three months extension to the
schedule of performance.
' Section 3. The Lynwood City Council authorizes the City Manager to
execute the Amended Disposition and Development Agreement with
Habitat for Humanity.
Section 4. This resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its
adoption by the Lynwood City Council.
PASSED, APPROVED, and adopted this 21st day of October 2008.
