The School Committee will go into Executive Session to discuss strategy with respect
to collective bargaining with union personnel, not to return to open session.
V. PRIORITY BUSINESS
A. Brewster Whitecaps
The Brewster Whitecaps representatives will present their schedule for field
maintenance and improvement for school committee consideration.
B. Administrators' Reports
Principals' Report (no oral report, written report in packet)

C. School Choice
The Committee will hold a public hearing to discuss participation in School Choice.
The Superintendent recommends that the schools NOT participate in school choice
for the 2014-15 school year.
D. Policy Update
The Superintendent recommends "approval in form" for a first reading, Section K,
School Community and Section L, Education Agency Relations.
The Superintendent recommends "approval in form" for a first reading, Section J,
Students, with the exception of the policy regarding fundraising.
The Superintendent recommends "approval in form" for a second reading, Section G,
Personnel, with the exception of the policy regarding School Committee and Staff
Communication.
E. FY14 Budget Update
Giovanna Venditti, Director of Finance and operations, will review the monthly
expenditure report.
F. FY15 Budget
The Committee will continue to review the FY15 budget and proposed reductions.
