A RESOLUTION SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING FOR AN ORDINANCE
AMENDMENT TO UPDATE BUSINESS LISTING TABLES TO INCLUDE STORAGE
IN C213 ZONINGS
Whereas, The City has realized that the business listings tables are not an all-inclusive
listing of possible businesses, and;
Whereas the City Council of the City of Tiffin recognizes that it is in the best interest of
the city to include wording indicating that if a business is not listed in a specific zoning to
inquire to Planning & Zoning to see about getting a recommendation fora Special Use;
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to set a
public hearing for this Ordinance Amendment for 10/22/14 at 7:00 p.m.
On the 8t" day of October, 2014, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin,
Iowa, Councilperson RYAN introduced Resolution No. 2014-136, A RESOLUTION
SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDMENT TO UPDATE
BUSINESS LISTING TABLES TO INCLUDE STORAGE IN C213 ZONINGS and made
a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson BARTELS.
Ayes: Kahler, Ryan, Petersen, Bartels, Upton
Nays: none.
Absent: none.
Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the Resolution No. 2014-136, A RESOLUTION SETTING A PUBLIC
HEARING FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDMENT TO UPDATE BUSINESS LISTING
TABLES TO INCLUDE STORAGE IN C213 ZONINGS to be adopted and signified his
approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 8t" day of October, 2014.
