COUNCIL “PRE-MEETING” WORK SESSION, FEBRUARY 4, 2019
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Carrie Tergin called the February 4, 2019 City Council “Pre-Meeting” to order at
5:45 P.M. to review the agenda.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present when the mee ting convened:
Present: Fitzwater, Graham, Hensley, Hussey, Kemna, Mihalevich, Prather,
Schreiber, Ward, and Wiseman
Absent: None
A quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Councilman Fitzwater will lead the prayer.
Bills Introduced
- Sonny Sanders, Director of Planning and Protective Services will present Bill
2018-101.
- Britt Smith, Operations Director of Public Works will present Bill 2018-102 and
its companion, Bill 2018-103. Mr. Smith will also present Bill 2018-104 which
has been check-marked for a request to suspend the rules.
Bills Pending
- Mr. Smith will present Bill 2018-098.
- Ryan Moehlman, City Counselor will present Bill 2018-100.
Resolutions
- Mr. Smith will present resolution RS2018-29.
- Mr. Moehlman will present resolution RS2018-30.
Councilwoman Wiseman asked fellow Councilmembers to speak with cons tituents
about volunteering for openings on various City boards and commissions. Gayle Strope,
Human Resources Director, will make an announcement during the City Council
meeting, indicating which boards and commissions currently have vacancies to f ill.
