NOTE: The Regular Meeting of the City Council was held online and in -person at the appointed time
and day in accordance with open meeting laws set and defined by the State of Iowa (Sections 21.2 and
21.8).
1. WELCOME -CALL TO ORDER -The meeting was called to order at 7:oo pm by Mayor Mike
Bawden, ROLL CALL -Council Members Present: DCamp (via online), Heddlesten (via online),
Littrel (via online), Krell (via online), Adams (via online). Also present: Mayor Mike Bawden (via
online), Engineer Chris Cooper (via online), City Administrator Kent Royster (in person), Riverdale
Fire Chief Chris Bernard (in person) and other residents and visitors attending online.
2. AGENDA MODIFICATIONS-Littrel made a motion to move Resolution 2021-16 to the beginning
of the resolutions and was seconded by Krell. Roll Call: All Ayes. MC
3. APPROVAL OF THE CONSENT AGENDA -Motion by Littrel, seconded by Heddlesten. Roll
Call: All Ayes. MC

6.1 RESOLUTIONS
6.2.1 Resolution 2021-16-A Resolution Considering the City of Riverdale's FY 2022 Budget.
Moved by Heddlesten, seconded by Krell. Roll Call: Ayes: Heddlesten, Littrel. Nays: DCamp,
Adams, Krell. Resolution failed.
6.2.2 DCamp made a motion to table Resolutions 2021-13, 2021-14, 2021-15 until the May 4, 2021
Special Council Meeting and was seconded by Littrel. Roll Call: All Ayes. MC
6.2.3 Resolution 2021-18- A Resolution Declaring Certain Property Surplus Property and
Authorizing the Sell Thereof. Moved by Heddlesten, seconded by Littrel. Roll Call: All Ayes. MC
6.2.4 Resolution 2021-19-A Resolution to Approve an Updated Purchasing Policy for the City of
Riverdale, Iowa. Resolution tabled.
8. OTHER COUNCIL ACTION- Littrel left the meeting at 9:oopm

Motion to adjourn by Heddlesten, seconded by Krell. All Ayes. The Regular Meeting of the City
