NOTE: The Regular Meeting of the City Council was held in -person at the appointed time and day in
accordance with open meeting laws set and defined by the State of Iowa (Sections 21.2 and 21.8).
1. WELCOME -CALL TO ORDER -The meeting was called to order at 7:09 pm by Mayor Mike
Bawden, ROLL CALL -Council Members Present: Adams, Littrel, Krell. Absent: DCamp,
Heddlesten. Also present: Mayor Mike Bawden, Engineer Chris Cooper, City Administrator Kent
Royster, Riverdale Fire Chief Chris Bernard, George Miller, and other residents and visitors.
2. APPROVAL OF THE CONSENT AGENDA -Motion by Krell, seconded by Adams. Roll Call: All

6.1 RESOLUTIONS
6.2.1 Resolution 2021-29-A Resolution Authorizing the Reimbursement for Belmont LLC for
expenses incurred. Moved by Littrel, seconded by Adams. Roll Call: All Ayes. MC
6.2.2 Resolution 2021-30-A Resolution Approving the Annual General Services Agreement with
MSA-PS for FY22. A motion was made by Krell to amend the resolution for MSA to modify the
agreement to expire on June 30, 2022 and the revised agreement does not exceed the approved cost
and was seconded by Littrel. Roll Call: All Ayes. MC
6.2 ORDINANCES
6.2.2 Second Reading of Ordinance 03 -2021 -An Ordinance Amending Section 150.04 of the
City of Riverdale, Iowa for the Purpose of Increasing the Compensation of the Mayor, Effective
January 1, 2022. Moved by Krell, seconded by Adams. Roll Call: All Ayes. MC
Krell made a motion to waive the third reading and was seconded by Littrel. Roll Call: All Ayes. MC

Motion to close the City Council meeting was made by Adams, seconded by Littrel. All Ayes. The
Regular Meeting of the City Council was formally adjourned at 8:53pm.
