7:45 P.M.
Members present: Mayor, Wayne Neddermeyer; Councilmembers, Arthur T heis, Thomas Crosby,
1Vancy Laurent, William Reiser; Clerk, Donna Roehl, Engineer Lyle
Swanson.
1. HAMEL PUMP HOUSE
Lyle Swanson presented plans and specifications for Hamel pump house. Building will
be 12 ft. x 12 ft. Plans include site grading, connecting to the present water line,
electric heat in building, submersible pump, chlorine tanks stored outside in steel
cabinets.
He estimated the cost to be approximately 26,000 for the entire project. Plans call for
a completion date of November 1, 1978 and there are two bidding options: Completed project
or temporary water supply during construction.
Motion by Laurent, seconded by Crosby to approve plans and specifications and advertize
for bids as provided in the August 23rd meeting.
Motion declared carried
Donna Roehl was asked to check with Orono building inspector as to whether or not a building
permit is needed.
2. ASSESSOR
William Reiser reported that Jack Wahlfors has expressed an interest in being the city
assessor and building inspector.
Mr. Wahlfors will be asked to appear at the September 5th meeting.
Motion by Arthur Theis, seconded by Thomas Crosby to adjourn..
Motion declared carried
