A RESOLUTION PRE -APPROVING QUALITY CARE FOR A
3 -YEAR PROPERTY TAX ABATEMENT
Whereas, The City has previously agreed to a property tax abatement for commercial
establishments in the Phase One of development in the High Development area, and;
Whereas the City Council of the City of Tiffin recognizes that this property tax
abatement would qualify Quality Care to receive a 3 -year property tax abatement due to
location in the Phase One;
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to pre -
approve Quality Care for a 3 -year Property Tax Abatement.
On the 12th day of November, 2014, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin,
Iowa, Councilperson Ryan introduced Resolution No. 2014-148, A RESOLUTION
PRE -APPROVING QUALITY CARE FOR A 3 -YEAR PROPERTY TAX ABATEMENT
and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Petersen.
Ayes: Upton, Bartels, Petersen, Ryan, Kahler
Nays: none'
Absent: none.

Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the Resolution -No. 2014-148, -A-RESOLUTION PRE -APPROVING
QUALITY CARE FOR A 3 -YEAR PROPERTY TAX ABATEMENT to be adopted and
signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 12th day of November, 2014.
