COUNCIL “PRE-MEETING” WORK SESSION, FEBRUARY 18, 2019
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Carrie Tergin called the February 18, 2019 City Council “Pre-Meeting” to order at
5:45 P.M. to review the agenda.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present when the meeting convened:
Present: Fitzwater, Graham, Hensley, Hussey, Kemna, Mihalevich, Prather,
Schreiber, and Ward
Absent: Wiseman
A quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Councilman Hussey will lead the prayer.
Mayor Tergin will ask for a motion to amend the agenda, moving items 7(a.) and 7(b.) to
4(b.) and 4(c.) respectively.
Miscellaneous
- Steve Crowell, City Administrator and Sonny Sanders, Director of Planning
and Protective Services will present the February Outstanding Employee
Service Award to Katrina Williams of Planning and Protective Services.
Public Hearings
- Eric Barron, City Planning Manager will present Bill 2018-101, RS2018-31
and RS2018-32. Councilman Graham and Councilman Fitzwater mentioned
that there has been a lot of neighborhood opposition to RS2018 -32.
Councilmembers and City Counselor, Ryan Moehlman discussed options
available on how to proceed with the resolution after the public hearing.
Announcements
- Jayme Abbott, Neighborhood Services Manager, will announce a scheduling
change with the West Main Street Historic Resources Survey I nformational
Meeting.
- Councilman Fitzwater will have a Rotary Club announcement for an upcoming
event.
