The Electrical Board of Examiners and Review met January 8, 2019, in the Small Conference
Room of the John G. Christy Municipal Building. The meeting was called to order by
Bill Luebbert at 4:05 p.m. A quorum was present.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES FROM THE NOVEMBER 6, 2018 MEETING
A motion was made by Joel Vanderslice and seconded by Chris Bruemmer to approve the
minutes of the November 6, 2018 meeting. Motion passed by show of hands.
REVIEW LICENSE APPLICATIONS
• A motion was made by Jim Gooch and seconded by Joel Vanderslice to approve Jamie
Farmer to receive his Journeyman Electrician License. Motion passed by show of hands.
• A motion was made by Joel Vanderslice and seconded by Chris Bruemmer to approve
Donald Pearce for his Master Electrician License. Motion passed by a show of hands.
OLD BUSINESS
None
NEW BUSINESS
• City staff are currently drafting a bill which will require licensed Electrical Contractors to
submit proof, to the City, of adequate workers' compensation and general Iiablility
insurance.

SCHEDULE NEXT MEETING
The Electrical Board's next meeting will be Tuesday, March 5, 2019. Board Members are to
meet at 4:00 p.m. in the Small Conference Room (aka Thomas Jefferson Conference Room).

With no other business, the Board of Electrical Examiners and Review Meeting adjourned at
4:55 p.m.
