RESOLUTION NO. 80 -1903
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TEMPLE "CITY ORDERING THE LEVY AND COLLECTION
OF ASSESSMENT-FOR-FISCAL YEAR 1980 -81 WITHIN THE
CITY WIDE LIGHTING MAINTENANCE DISTRICT PURSUANT
'TO THE LANDSCAPING-AND LIGHTING ACT OF 1972
WHEREAS, the City .Cbuncil of the City of Temple City did on the
6th day of May, 1980, adopt its Resolution of Intention No. 80 -1896
to levy and collect assesstent for fiscal year 1980 -81 within the
City wide Lighting Maintenance District, which Resolution of Intention
No. 80 -1896 was duly and legally published in the time, form and
manner as required by law, shown by the Affidavit of Publication of
said Resolution. of Intention on file in the Office of the City Clerk; and
WHEREAS, said City Council having duly received considered evi-
dence, oral and documentary, concerning the jurisdiction facts in this
proceeding and concerning the necessity for the contemplated work and
the benefits to be derived therefrom, and said City Council having now
acquired jurisdiction to order the proposed assessment:
SECTION 1'.:'` It is hereby resolved by the City Council of the
City of Temple City that the report filed by the Engineer is hereby
finally approved; and
SECTION 2.. Be it .further resolved that the public interest and
convenience requires the ordering of the levy and collection of assess -
ments for fiscal year 1980 -81, and said City Council hereby orders levy
and collection` of assessments within the City wide Lighting Maintenance
District, as set forth and described in said Resolution of Intention
No. 80 -1896 be done and made; and
SECTION 3. Be it further resolved that the adoption of this
Resolution constitutes the levy of the assessments as set forth in the
Engineer's Report for the fiscal year 1980 -81; and
SECTION 4. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
file a. certified copy of the diagram and assessment with the County
Auditor of the County of Los Angeles not later than the third Monday in
August.

of June, 1980, by the following vote:
