APPROVING AWARD OF CONTRACTS FOR THE CCA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
WATER AND SEWER EXTENSION PROJECT IN AND FOR THE CITY OF TIFFIN,
UPON REVIEW OF THE BIDS AND RECOMMENDATION BY THE PROJECT
ENGINEER
WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of TIFFIN has received bids for the CCA Elementary
School WATER AND SEWER EXTENSION PROJECT; and
WHEREAS, Subject to Agreement with CCA School District and City of Tiffin dated 06/20/14;
and
WHEREAS, The City of TIFFIN has identified the following contractors as having the lowest,
most responsive, responsible bid for each division:
DIVISION I- (Water) Maxwell Construction, Inc.
DIVISION II- (Sewer) Cornerstone Excavating
DIVISION II- (Lift Station) WRH, Inc:
WHEREAS, the City of TIFFIN desires to expedite the contractual process; now
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of TIFFIN to authorize the
Mayor and City Administrator/Clerk to sign all necessary notices, documents, and forms of
contract, as required and necessary to execute a contract with all of the named entities above as
identified and recommended by the Project Engineer.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 2nd Day of August, 2014.
