The Council of the Village of Medina met in special session Wednesday evening,
August 30, 1967 at 7:10 P. M. for the purpose of acting as Canvassing Board
for results of the special election of August 29,.1967, as submitted by the
election Judges, Leona goelfgen, Beverly Fries, Leona Branson, Gladyce Reimer
and Jeanne Sorensen.
Results:
Shall we issue license for Sunday Liquor where permissable?
For 88
Against 24
923 registered voters, 112 voted with no spoiled ballots.
Moved by Rayburn Anderson that the Council approve the ballotting as sub-
mitted by the Judges.
Seconded by Harold Winterhalter.
Motion carried.
Moved by R'arold Winterhalter to adopt the following resolution: That the
Village of Medina does hereby resolve to adopt the Minnesota Statute
governing the Liquor on Sunday Law by reference and set the fee of the
license at $200.00 per year.
Seconded by Raymond Bosch.
Motion carried.
Moved by Ffa.rold Winterhalter that the meeting adjourn.
Seconded by.Rayburn Anderson.
