APPROVING AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR THE 2014 IRELAND AVENUE
PROJECT, FOR THE CITY OF TIFFIN, UPON REVIEW OF THE BIDS BY IDOT.

WHEREAS, The City Council4 of the City of Tiffin has received bids for the 2014 Ireland
Avenue Project; and
WHEREAS, the City of Tiffin has identified Rathje Construction Company as having the lowest,
most responsible bid; and {
WHEREAS, the City of Tiffin desires to expedite the contractual process; now
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Tiffin to authorize the
Mayor and City Clerk to sign all -necessary notices, documents, and forms of contract, as
required and necessary to execute a contract with Rathje Construction Company as identified and
recommended by the Project Engineer.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 13th Day of August, 2014.
