MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF SELECTMEN REGULAR SESSION MEETING
DATE: September 19, 2014
TIME: 12:30 P.M.
PLACE: Brewster Town Office Building, 2198 Main Street
PRESENT: Selectman deRuyter, Chairman Foley, Selectman Dickson, Assistant Town Administrator Jillian
Douglass, Lisa Souve
ABSENT: Selectman Norton, Selectman Hughes, Town Administrator Charles Sumner
Call to Order
Chairman Foley called the meeting to order at 12:30pm.
Ratify Vote Taken on September 15, 2014 Regarding Classification Hearing
Chairman Foley stated that the Board needs to ratify the vote taken on September 15 at the classification
hearing. Selectman Dickson moved that the Board of Selectmen adopt a residential factor of 1 (one), and that
the Board not adopt the residential exemption, open space exemption or small commercial exemption,
Selectman deRuyter second. The Board voted 3-Yes, 0-No.
Chairman Foley stated that the Board also needs to appoint Charlie Sumner as the Chief Procurement Officer.
Selectman Dickson moved to appoint Town Administrator, Charles Sumner as the Chief Procurement Officer,
Selectmen deRuyter second. The Board voted 3-Yes, 0-No.
Selectman Dickson moved to adjourn at 12:32pm, Selectman deRuyter second. The Board voted 3-Yes, 0-No.
