A Special Meeting of the Mayor and Council of the Borough of
Carteret was called to order by Mayor James A. Failace at 6:30 P.M.,
on Monday, January 25, 1999, at the Council Room/Borough Hall, 61
Cooke Avenue, Carteret, New Jersey.
Upon individual roll call, the following were noted present:
Councilmember Patrick Crilley
" Jack Fazekas
" Stanley Gutowski
" James Mancuso
" James O'Brien
" Remy Quinones
Also noted present was Borough Attorney Craig Coughlin.
Also noted present was Mike Menzoff
" Paul Mercatanti
" Mike Bucsak
The Clerk stated that on January 21, 1999, in full compliance with the
Open Meetings Act, a notice of tonight's meeting was sent to The
Home News Tribune, The Star-Ledger and posted on the bulletin
board.
The purpose of the meeting is to adopt a resolution to go into Closed
Session, Re: Disciplinary Hearings and Grievance.
RESOLUTION #99-47 was introduced by the Mayor and referred to
the Council for action.
Upon MMS&C, Councilmembers Gutowski and Fazekas
RESOLUTION #99-47
"RESOLUTION TO GO INTO CLOSED SESSION"
was adopted. Upon individual roll call vote, Councilmembers Crilley,
Fazekas, Gutowski, MancusO, O'Brien and Quinones voted in the
affirmati ve.
At approximately 6:35 P.M., a closed session was held.

unanimous affirmative vote of the six (6) Councilmembers present, the
meeting was open to the public at approximately 8:25 P.M.
ADJOURNED
There being no further business of discussion, upon MMS&C, by
Councilmembers Mancuso and Quinones and unanimous affirmative
vote of the six (6) Councilmembers present, the meeting was
adjourned at approximately 8:26 P.M.
