RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING HART -FREDERICK CONSULTANTS TO PROCEED
WITH COMPILING A REPORT FOR THE ADA SIDEWALK TRANSITION PLAN IN
AND FOR THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IA.
WHEREAS, the City of Tiffin recognizes the importance of complying with the requirements of
the American Pisability Act (ADA).
WHEREAS, a ADA sidewalk Transition'Plan is required when an entity receives Federal
Funds.
WHEREAS, the City of Tiffin authorizes Hart -Frederick Consultants P.C. to proceed with
compiling a report regarding the ADA sidewalk Transition Plan. This report will provide
guidance on how the ADA sidewalk Transition Plan will be implemented with estimated
timeframes of each stage and possible estimated budgeting costs.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TIFFIN, IOWA WHICH Hart -Frederick Consultants P.C., is hereby authorized to proceed with
the ADA sidewalk Transition Plan report.
On the 22nd day of October, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Councilperson Ryan introduced Resolution No. 2014-140, and made a motion for approval. `
Motion seconded by Councilperson Kahler.
