AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 8-30 OF THE
GREENCASTLE CITY CODE REGARDING
SCHEDULE OF ON-STREET RESERVED HANDICAP PARKING SPACES
WHEREAS, Section 8-30 of the Greencastle City Code lists the on-street reserved handicap
parking spaces within the City of Greencastle; and
WHEREAS,the City wishes to amend and add to Section 8-30 of the Greencastle City Code.
NOW THEREFORE be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Greencastle that
Section 8-30,Schedule of On-Street Reserved Handicap Parking Spaces,is hereby amended to read
as follows:

Street Location of Reserved Handicap Parking Spaces
Franklin Street One (1) space located on the north side of Franklin Street immediately east of the
intersection of Franklin Street and Indiana Street
Howard Street Two(2)spaces located nearest to the intersection of Howard Street and Crown Street
on the south side of Howard Street, west of Crown Street
Indiana Street Two (2) spaces located on the west side of the street immediately south of the
crosswalk between Franklin Street and Washington Street. Two(2)spaces located
on the west side of the street immediately north of the crosswalk between Franklin
Street and Washington Street.
Larabee Street Two(2) spaces located on the north side, 30 feet west of the circle
Locust Street One (1) space located 171 feet north of Hanna Street on the west side of Locust
Street, and One(1) space immediately north of Simpson Street
Madison Street Entire East side of Madison Street between Washington and Franklin Street
Olive Street Two(2) spaces located west of College Street on the north side of Olive Street
Poplar Street One(1)space located twenty-five(25)feet west of Indiana Street on the south side of
Poplar Street
Simpson Street One (1) space located on the south side of Simpson Street, 200 feet west of Locust
Street
Spring Street Two(2)spaces located on the east side of Spring Street north of Simpson Street.
Vine Street One(1)space located on the east side, 90 feet north of Poplar Street
Vine Street Two(2)spaces in the Vine Street Parking Lot located at the southwest corner
Parking Lot and One(1)parking space located at the northeast corner of the parking lot.
Walnut Street One(1)space located approximately thirty-seven(37)feet east of Indiana Street on
the north side of Walnut Street.
Washington Street One(1)space located sixty-five(65)feet west of College Street on the north side of
Washington Street,and One(1)space located on the south side of Washington Street
immediately east of the intersection of Washington and Jackson Street
This Ordinance shall have full force and effect upon passage of the Greencastle Common
Council and its approval by the Mayor.
