AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 8-22 OF THE
GREENCASTLE CITY CODE REGARDING THE
SCHEDULE OF NO PARKING ZONES
WHEREAS, Section 8-22 of the Greencastle City Code lists the no parking zones within the City of
Greencastle; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to update its list of no parking zones within the City of Greencastle.
WHEREAS,the Indiana Department of Transportation has granted the City the authority to regulate
parking along U.S. 231 within the city limits.
NOW THEREFORE be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Greencastle that Section 8-
22, Schedule of No Parking Zones, is hereby amended to add/amend the following no parking zone areas:
Street Side From To
Washington St North Indiana Street 65 feet east
Walnut Street North Indiana Street 37 feet east
Walnut Street South Bloomington Street Indiana Street
Walnut Street North Loading Zone Indiana Street
east of Jackson Street
All other provisions in Section 8-22 shall remain in full force and effect.
This Ordinance shall have full force and effect upon passage of the Greencastle Common Council and
its approval by the Mayor.
