HomeMy Public PortalAboutORD15894 BILL NO. 2018-113 SPONSORED BY Councilman Graham ORDINANCE NO. 150614 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, ACCEPTING AND APPROVING THE FINAL SUBDIVISION PLAT OF RIDGECREST SUBDIVISION, SECTION TWO, A SUBDIVISION OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI. WHEREAS, Twehous Excavating Company, owner of the real estate hereinafter described, having submitted to the City Council a plat of said real estate, being located in Jefferson City, Cole County, Missouri, and described as: Part of the East Half of the Northwest Quarter of Section 14, Township 44 North, Range 12 West, in the City of Jefferson, Cole County, Missouri, more particularly described as follows: From the southwest corner of the East Half of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 14, said corner also being the southwest corner of the property as described in Book 552, page 323, Cole County Recorder's Office; thence N05°21'14"W, along the Quarter, Quarter Section Line, being the westerly line of said property described in Book 552, page 323, and the property described in Book 552, page 324, Cole County Recorder's Office, 2267.28 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING for this description; thence continuing N05°21'14"W along said Quarter, Quarter Section Line, and the westerly line of said property described in Book 552, page 323, 448.84 feet to a point on the southerly right-of-way line of West Edgewood Drive as described by deed of record in Book 370, page 789, Cole County Recorder's Office; thence N86°34'36"E, along said West Edgewood Drive right-of-way line, 229.67 feet; thence S66°04'16"E, along said West Edgewood Drive right-of-way line, 29.62 feet to a point on the westerly right-of-way line of West Stadium Boulevard as described by deed of record in Book 263, page 567, Cole County Recorder's Office; thence southerly along said West Stadium Boulevard right-of-way line on a curve to the left, having a radius of 1115.31 feet, an arc distance of 366.47 feet, (the chord of said curve being S38°05'32"E, 364.82 feet); thence S44°21'46"W, 159.84 feet; thence S81°48'30"W, 331.14 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING. Containing 3.50 acres; and WHEREAS, it appears that said plat has been fully and properly signed and accepted by the owner of said subdivision, known and referred to as the Final Subdivision Plat of Ridgecrest Subdivision, Section Two, that all taxes have been paid, that in all respects the requirements of Chapter 445, RSMo, entitled "Plats" have been fully complied with by the owner of said subdivision, and that in all respects the requirements of the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, relating to plats and subdivisions have been complied with. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the Final Subdivision Plat of Ridgecrest Subdivision, Section Two, lying, being and situated within the corporate limits of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, as shown by the said plat attached hereto and made a part of this ordinance, is hereby approved and accepted by the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri. Section 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to endorse acceptance of said plat hereon and to certify the approval of said plat under the seal of the City of Jefferson. Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage and approval.
