A RESOLUTION HIRING NORTHLAND SECURITIES TO
COMPLETE A SEWER RATE STUDY AND BE FINANCIAL PLANNER
ON THE SEWER EXPANSION PROJECT
Whereas, The City will be expanding the sewer plan to accommodate growth in the city
limits, and;,
Whereas the City Council of the City of Tiffin recognizes that it is a requirement to have
a rate study and a financial planner be involved with the process if the City wishes to
use SRF loan ,
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to hire
Northland Securities to complete a sewer rate study and be Financial Planner on the
Sewer Expansion Project.
On the 12th day of November, 2014, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin,
Iowa, Councilperson Ryan introduced Resolution No. 2014-162, A RESOLUTION
HIRING NORTHLAND SECURITIES TO COMPLETE A SEWER RATE STUDY AND
BE FINANCIAL PLANNER ON THE SEWER EXPANSION PROJECT and made a
motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Kahler.

Ayes: Upton, Bartels, Petersen, Ryan, Kahler.
Nays: none.
Absent: none.
Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the Resolution No. 2014-162, A RESOLUTION HIRING NORTHLAND
SECURITIES TO COMPLETE A SEWER RATE STUDY AND BE A FINANCIAL
PLANNER ON THE SEWER EXPANSION'PROJECT to be adopted and signified his
approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 12th day of November, 2014.
