A RESOLUTION HIRING DORSEY & WHITNEY TO HANDLE THE PROCESS OF
STATE REVOLVING FUNDS FOR THE SEWER EXPANSION PROJECT
Whereas, The City has to start the process to expand the sewer plan in order to keep
up with the growth in the City, and;
Whereas the City'Council of the City of Tiffin recognizes that it is a requirement to have
Legal Council that is knowledgeable in the processes of the State Revolving Fund
(SRF) loans to involved with the project;
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to hire
Dorsey & Whitney to handle the processing of the State Revolving Funds for the Sewer
Expansion Project. 4
On the 12th day of November, 2014, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin,
Iowa, Councilperson Kahler,introduced Resolution No. 2014-163, A RESOLUTION
HIRING DORSEY & WHITNEY TO HANDLE THE PROCESS OF STATE REVOLVING
FUNDS FOR THE SEWER EXPANSION PROJECT and made a motion for approval.
Motion seconded by Councilperson Petersen.
Ayes: Upton, Bartels, Petersen, Ryan, Kahler.
Nays: none.
Absent: none.
Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the Resolution N6. 2014-163, A RESOLUTION HIRING DORSEY &
WHITNEY TO HANDLE THE PROCESS OF STATE REVOLVING FUNDS FOR THE
SEWER EXPANSION PROJECT to be adopted and signified his approval of the same
by affixing his signature, thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 12TH day of November, 2014.
