l~garding the location of the pump station, fronl an aesihotics view point, the slation would be less
noticeable if it were located south of (he Walgreon'$ driveway along the property line rather than ~o thc
north of the driv~vay in ~ middle of th~ parking lot. Further r~gaz~ing this roarer, w~ umterstand ttuit
resident al 57 Harrison Avenue (Block 375, Lot 2a) is willing W provide some prop~'W if necessary for the
pump station. A~enrdin~y, we recommend the odl/~al concept plan be r~viscd to locale the pump s~afion
somewher~ in thc vicinity of the l~operty line between Wal/rean's Md 57 Hanison Avenue. At this point.
we do not sec a~y additional cog for Ibis cbartgo (see allached sketch).
Lastly, with respect to thc r~lecation of the ~xisting sew~ lines (force main ~d gravity sewer) which
tho propgrty of 57 Hani~on Avenue (Block 375, LoT 24), we suggest that the grsvky lin= be telovlsed
determine its condition(it is assumed rephcemeoI of thc forc~ mah is not necessary) Should the TV
insp_~on show t~e sewer to be in good condition, and since fl~ scwe~ have been th~ for ~ny years, wc
recommend rerouting of the sewers not be performed. Although the resi&m~ ha~ oomplainad of p~odic
backups, we I2:heve that the new pump station will el ~m;n~e any ~uroha~glng an¢l hack~p$,
We ~aat~, elimination of the rerouting of the gravity sew~ and forc~ main will more than offset
mldi'donal costs rela~ed to the ~astallation of a block builcliag mid any posslbl¢ additional costs relat~ to
reloc.~rln~ the pump station.
We hgve reviewed the projec~ budget with Bom~h (.'FO Pauick DeB 'lasio aod ho has t~dvised that
additional $5,000 is available for the masonry building or~neerlng.
Plea.~e review the above information and advise whethc-r thc~ is concurr~nc, e with these recormneadahom.
