Leesburg’s Historic Downtown Hosts Fine Arts Festival on
September 20 & 21, 2014
Leesburg, VA (September 12, 2014) – The 3rd annual Leesburg Fine Arts Festival will be held in
downtown Leesburg on September 20 and 21, 2014. Festival hours are 10:00am to 6:00pm on
Saturday, September 20, and 11:00am to 5:00pm on Sunday, September 21. Admission to the
festival is free.
There will be street closures in downtown Leesburg for the festival. King Street, from Cornwall
Street to Loudoun Street, and Market Street, from Church Street to Wirt Street, will be closed,
beginning at 5:30pm on Friday, September 19. Streets should reopen at approximately 9pm on
Sunday, September 21. Access to the Town Hall Parking Garage during the festival will be
available from Loudoun Street only.
The Leesburg Fine Arts Festival will showcase over 100 nationally and internationally acclaimed
artists from more than 20 states and overseas. Coordinated by Paragon Art Events, the festival
will feature painting, jewelry, sculpture, photography, woodworking, ceramics, glass, fiber art,
mixed media, metalwork and more. For more information, please visit

A portion of the proceeds from the festival will support the Friends of Leesburg Public Arts. The
Friend of Leesburg Public Arts’ mission is to provide funding and support for public art and arts-
related programs within the Town of Leesburg. In addition to hosting the annual Fine Arts
Festival, they are currently raising funds for a mural on the Loudoun Street side of the Town
