A RESOLUTION SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING TO AMEND THE URBAN
RENEWAL PLAN TO ADD THE COMMERCIAL LOTS IN WILLOW RIDGE AND
PRAIRIE WEST
Whereas, The City has received a request to consider adding the Commercial Lots in
the above two (2) developments, and;
Whereas the City Council of the City of Tiffin recognizes that there are several things
that need to happen to process said request to have Council consider any type of
rebate or agreement with the two (2) developments named above;
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to set a
public hearing for Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. to amend the Urban
Renewal Plan to add the Commercial lots only in the two (2) developments of Willow
Ridge and Prairie West.
On the 25th day of November, 2014, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City,Council, Tiffin,
Iowa, Councilperson Upton introduced Resolution No. 2014-169, A RESOLUTION
SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING TO AMEND THE URBAN RENEWAL PLAN TO ADD
THE COMMERCIAL LOTS IN WILLOW RIDGE AND PRAIRIE WEST and made a
motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Bartels.
Ayes: Upton, .Bartels, Petersen, Ryan.
Nays: none.
Absent: Kahler.
Whereupon 4 Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the Resolution No. 2014-169, A RESOLUTION SETTING A PUBLIC
HEARING TO AMEND THE URBAN RENEWAL PLAN TO ADD THE COMMERCIAL
LOTS IN WILLOW RIDGE AND PRAIRIE WEST to be adopted and signified his
approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 25th day of November, 2014.
