RESOLUTION 2022-41
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING $5,000 FOR MSA PROFESSIONAL SERVICES'
REVIEW OF WOODS ESTATES LETTER OF CREDIT FOR PHASE III
WHEREAS, the City of Riverdale, Iowa ("City") is a municipal corporation, organized and operating under
the laws of the State of Iowa; and,
WHEREAS, Woods Development ("the Developer") has asked for a reduction in the Letter of Credit for
Woods Estates Phase I II held by the City of Riverdale to align with the Woods Estates subdivision
infrastructure that is complete; and,
WHEREAS, MSA Professional Services ("MSA") proposes to review Woods Estates Phase III inspection
reports and quantities listing for accuracy and completion (e.g., storm sewer system, sanitary sewer
system, etc.) in order to correct value to reduce the Letter of Credit; and,
WHEREAS, the City has reviewed and considered MSA's Agreement (attachment A), MSA Project
Number 10876089, and Scope of Work (attachment B) to review and determine that percentage; and,
WHEREAS, the City will seek reimbursement of the costs associated with this agreement from the
Developer prior to reduction of the letter of credit.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Riverdale, Iowa, that:

The Mayor is authorized and directed to enter into the Agreement with MSA for the
review of Woods Estates Phase III inspection reports and completion percentage services
at a cost not to exceed $5,000.
MSA will update City Council at future meetings regarding the status of the project.
