AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF A NEW ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE
CONTROL LICENSE TO PARTNER'S PUB, INC. FOR THE 1999-2000
AND 2000-2001 LICENSE TERMS
WHEREAS, Partner's Pub, Inc., 4 Cooke Avenue, Cartemt, New Jersey, failed to
timely file an application for renewal of its Plenary Retail License, No. 1201-33-
032-077, causing said renewal license to lapse for the 1999-2000 renewal term;
and
WHEREAS, on May 9,2001, the Director of the Division of Alcoholic Beverage
Control, Department of Law and Public Safety, State of New Jersey, issued a
Special Ruling To Permit The Issuance Of A New License Upon Failure To
Timely Renew Pursuant To N.J.S.A. 33: 1-12.18 for the 1999-2000 licen se term in
The Matter Of The Application Of Partner's Pub, Inc., Agency Dkt. No. 09-00-
1730, authorizing the issuance of a new license to Partner's Pub, Inc. for the
1999-2000 license term; and
WHEREAS, Partner's Pub, Inc. has filed the requisite application and posted the
required fees with the Borough of Carteret, and has further complied with the
advertising requirements contained in N.J.A.C. 13:2-2.5 as required by the
aforementioned Special Ruling; and
WHEREAS, Partner's Pub, Inc. timely filed an application for renewal of its
Plenary Retail License for the 2000-2001 license term, however, said renewal
application could not be approved because of the lapsing of Partner's Pub's
license in 1999; and
WHEREAS, the designated inspection and investigation of Partner's Pub, Inc.
has been completed by the Borough authorities; and
WHEREAS, no objections to the application of Partner's Pub, Inc have been
filed with the Borough Clerk.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, that a new
Plenary Retail License, No. 1201-33-032-007, be granted and issued to Partner's
Pub, Inc. for the 1999-2000 license term pursuant to N.J.S.A. 33:1-12.18; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the application for license renewal by
Partner's Pub, Inc. for the 2000-2001 license term is hereby approved; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Municipal Clerk is hereby authorized
to issue the aforesaid Plenary Retail to Partner's Pub for the 1999-2000 license
term and to issue a renewal license to Partner's Pub for the 2000-2001 license
term; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that certified copies of this Resolution be
forwarded with the required applications and requisite fees to the Division of
Alcoholic Beverage Control within the New Jersey Department of Law and
Public Safety.
