Second by John Nixon VOTE: 7-0-0 14-08 James Conrad,692 Great Fields Road, Map 52 Lot 55(M 40 L 2-83), in RM zoning district.The applicant is seeking an Appeal of the Zoning Agents decision and/or a Dimensional Variance under MGL 40 A, sections 8, 10 and 15 and Brewster Bylaw179-37 and 179-52 and section 37 to allow a home occupation within a pre-existing accessory structure greater than 499 square feet. A written request was presented by Mr. Conrad to WITHDRAW w/o prejudice his application before the Board of Appeals MOTION by Arthur Stewart to accept WITHDRAW w/o prejudice for application 14-08 Second by Bruce MacGregor VOTE: 7-0-0 14-14 John+ Sara Thorne, (represented by Attorney Michael D.Ford), 964 Satucket Road, Map 35 Lot 48(M 36 L 22), in RM zoning district. The applicant is seeking a Special Permit or in,the alternative, a Variance under MGL 40A section 6, and Brewster Bylaw 179-25B to reconstruct the barn currently located on a property with multiple dwellings Members hearing this application were: Arthur Stewart, Bruce MacGregor, John Nixon, Les Erikson and Philip Jackson Attorney Michael D. Ford represented the applicant Amanda Sawyer represented the architect. Mr. Ford gave a brief overview; • This is the old High Brewster property • 130,000 sf property ZBA Meeting Minutes Page 1 of 2 11-18-14 12/22/2014 2:29 PM • purchased in 2001 • Main House and Brook House have kitchens • Pond House and Bunk House have been redone with permits • Last to be done is the Barn • proposed no increase in size on the same footprint • Old Kings Highway Committee has approved this design • only change is to the roof line; adding a dormer to look out at the pond and increase head room in loft • Currently; 2 bedrooms and hallway type kitchen.
