Notice of Public Hearing on
Proposed Barnstable County Ordinance No. 15-07
On September 2, 2015, at 3:15 p.m., the Standing Committee on Finance will hold a public
bearing on Proposed County Ordinance 15-07: To add to the County's operating budget for
FY 16 by making supplemental appropriations for FY2016 for ongoing water quality monitoring,
assessment and remediation at the Barnstable County Fire & Rescue Training Academy in the
amount of $232,000. An appropriation from the General Fund to be transferred into a new
Special Revenue Fund for purposes stated above. Said funds derived from the General Fund
Non-Restricted Project Stabilization Reserve set aside at the end of FY 15.
The public hearing will be held in the Chamber of the Assembly of Delegates,
First District Courthouse, Route 6A, Barnstable, MA.
Anyone wishing to testify orally will be welcome to do so. Written comments may also
be submitted at the hearing, faxed to the Assembly office (508) 362-6530, c-mailed to the office
(aofd@barnstablecounty.org), or delivered or mailed for receipt by Noon on or before the date of
the bearing to the office of the Assembly of Delegates, First District Courthouse, Routc 6A,
Barnstable, MA 02630.
The full text of Proposed Ordinance 15-07 has been distributed to the Town Clerk of each
town in Barnstable County and is also available from the office of the Assembly of Delegates,
First District Courthouse, Route 6A, Barnstable, MA., and on line at
