RESOLUTION NO. 80 -1938
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DECLARING CERTAIN
PREMISES TO BE A PUBLIC NUISANCE, AND
ORDERING ABATEMENT THEREOF
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Temple City has,
by Resolution No. 80- 911PC, determined that a public nuisance as
defined in the Municipal Code, exists on certain premises and recom-
mends abatement thereof; and
WHEREAS, no appeal has been taken from said determination, and
the time for taking such appeal has expired:
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Temple City
hereby declares that a public nuisance, as defined in the Municipal
Code of the City of Temple City, and as determined by the findings
attached to the Planning Commission Resolution No. 80- 911PC, exists
on the premises designated as 5736 Rio Hondo Avenue in said city,
and more particularly described as Parcel 14, Lot 759 of Tract 6561
in the City of Temple City as per Map recorded in Book 8587, p. 4
of Maps in the Office of the County Recorder, County of Los Angeles,
State of California; and
That if said abatement is not accomplished by the expiration of
thirty (30) days, the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed
to cause said public nuisance to be abated by City forces or private
contract pursuant to the Municipal, Code; and
That the City Clerk be and is hereby directed to cause a copy
of this Resolution to be served on the owners of said premises pur-
suant to the Municipal Code.
The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.

I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted
by the City Council of the City of Temple City at a regular meeting
held on the 21st day of October, 1980, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen- Dennis, Gillanders, Merritt, Tyrell, Atkins
NOES: Councilmen -None
ABSENT: _Councilmen- None
