Special Meeting -
Jan loth 1944.
Mayor Graham called a special meeting of the council
for the purpose of considering the accepta nce of a parcel
of ground for alley purposes.
Mayor Graham presiding and all councilmen present. -
Mayor Graham stated to the council that Mrs Closka Neessen
has offered to the Town the following; parcel of ground for
Alley purposes; 'THe west half of Lot 15 in Block 9 in the
Original Plat of the Town'
After due consideration, it was moved by Luwe second by
Okones that the Town Accept the above offer.
Roll call-
Ayes- Haack- Okones- Luwe Lindaman- Kruse
Nays none.
Mayor declared motion carried.

Regular Meeting, of the Council---------
MayorGraham presiding; and all councilmen present; -
Minutes of the last meetings were read and on motion by Lindaman
second by Luwe approved as read- motion carried..
A report regarding the pay of firemen for meetinf-s was read
by the Clerk and same was placed on file.
The Clerk was directed to.notif y the Fire Company,in writing,
that no compensation for meetings is allowable.
The Treasurers renort was received, read. and ordered placed
on file; -
Motion by Kruse second by Haack thrt the Policy's on the
Fire Truck and Pick-up be renewed. Motion carried.
