PRESENT: BOB BRADLEY, ANNE HEIDEMAN, SUSIE MACKAY, PENNY
ELSENPETER, CHRIS CROSBY, FRANK MIGNONE, CAROLYN SMITH
AND BRUCE WORKMAN. ALSO PRESENT, PLANNING AND ZONING
ASSISTANT, SANDIE LARSON
ABSENT: DECKER VELIE
Chairperson Penny Elsenpeter called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.
1. MINUTES OF JULY 9, 1996
MOVED BY ANNE HEIDEMAN AND SECONDED BY CHRIS CROSBY TO ACCEPT
THE MINUTES AS PRESENTED.
MOTION PASSED.
2. THERESA AND PETER NAAB - 2785 MORNINGSIDE ROAD - FRONT YARD
SET -BACK VARIANCE - 7:31 P.M.
An overhead of the site was put up.
Penny Elsenpeter asked the planning commission if they had read their information and
if there were any questions.
Frank Mignone asked if there had been any objections from any of the neighbors.
Theresa Naab said that the neighbors were happy with the plan and the closest
neighbor was glad about the design as it would not block any views for them.
MOVED BY FRANK MIGNONE AND SECONDED BY CHRIS CROSBY TO
RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF A 11' FRONT YARD SET -BACK VARIANCE FOR
THERESA AND PETER NAAB AT 2785 MORNINGSIDE ROAD, THE HARDSHIP
BEING IT IS CONSISTENT WITH THE HOUSE SETBACK AND ALSO CONSISTENT
WITH OTHER HOUSES IN THE AREA.
MOTION PASSED.

Carolyn Smith asked when they were going to have ordinance updates on the agenda
and it would be nice to do it when the agenda it light.
There was discussion that the city attorney was going to go through the ordinances and
see which ones needed updating and/or clarification and was going to bring any needed
changes to the planning commission's attention.,
The planning commission asked that the city attorney be asked if he is working on this
and would appreciate some feedback.
3. MEETING DATE CHANGE
MOVED BY ANNE HEIDEMAN AND SECONDED BY BOB BRADLEY TO CHANGE
THE SEPTEMBER MEETING DATE TO WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 11 DUE TO
THE PRIMARY ELECTION.
MOTION PASSED.
MOVED BY CAROLYN SMITH AND SECONDED BY BRUCE WORKMAN TO
ADJOURN.
MOTION PASSED
Meeting adjourned at 7:43 p.m.
