Cemetery Veteran Gravestones- The veteran gravestones have been ordered. The Jefferson City
Veteran Council has donated $2000.00 toward the purchase of the gravestones. Also $250.00 from the
Juneteenth Organization and $25.00 from a private donor has been donated for the gravestones.
Nancy is working with the Lincoln University Foundation to help with recovering the rest of the cost.
Capital Monument Company has quoted a price of $4410.00 for making and installing the gravestones in
the cemetery.
Gone but Not Forgotten Memorial- Board Members discussed the Gone but Not Forgotten Monument
in Old City Cemetery. The project will proceed this summer when other projects have been completed.
This time frame is also because of conditions the grounds and stone must be in before names can be
added.
Donation of Flag Pole- David Grellner stated the flag pole, donated by Mr. James Ludy, was installed at
the end of December. A picture of the flag pole and flag was viewed by members.
