A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TEMPLE CITY APPROVING THE DESTRUCTION OF
CERTAIN CITY RECORDS
WHEREAS, Sections 34090, 34091,5 and 34090.7 of the Government
Code authorize the destruction of City records upon approval of the
legislative body of the City and with the written consent of the
I City Attorney provided that said records do not fall within certain
specified categories and are not less than two (2) years old, and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has requested authority for the
destruction of certain records which do not fall within the excepted
categories and all of which are more than two (2) years old,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TEMPLE CITY, AS FOLLOWS:
That the following listed records of the Administrative Depart-
ment be destroyed in the appropriate manner:
Budget data (copies of working budget furnished to
City Council for action) prior to 1975.
Budget data (back-up data and copies accumulated within
Departments) prior to 1975
Personnel (vacation, sick leave records) prior to 1978
That the following listed records of the Business License Department
be destroyed in the appropriate manner:
Annual License (pink and yellow copies) prior to 1978
That the following listed records of the City Clerk's Department
be destroyed in the appropriate manner
Charitable Solicitation License prior to 1978
Fireworks Permits prior to 1977
Insurance (Others indemnifying City) prior to 1975
Proclamations prior to 1977
Agreements (Individuals) prior to 1975
That the following listed records of the Finance Department be
destroyed in the appropriate manner
Paid invoices - 1965-66 thru 1969-70
Bank Reconciliation Statements - FY 1971-72 thru 1974-75
Budget Revisions - FY 1971-72 thru 1974-75
Credit Union Monthly Billings - FY 1971-72 thru 1974-75
Numertai Receipts - FY 1971-72 thru 19'74-75
Numerical Warrants - FY 1971-72 thru 1974-75
Menthly Skatements - FY 197-72 thru 1974-75
Expends Journals - FY 1971-72 t:hru. 1974-75
