A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE A GENERAL SERVICES AGREEMENT
WITH MSA PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
WHEREAS, The City of Riverdale, Iowa ("City") is a municipal corporation, organized and operating under
the laws of the State of Iowa; and,
WHEREAS, the City engages MSA Professional Services for all municipal engineering services and MSA
Professional Services is the appointed City engineer and representative in such matters; and,
WHEREAS, MSA Professional Services and the City have agreed that for the sake of efficiency and
effectiveness it is best practice to account for all expenses related to engineering; and,
WHEREAS, a General Services Agreement is in the best interest of all parties; and,
WHEREAS, this General Services Agreement is not to exceed sixteen thousand dollars ($16,000.00). For
projects greater than $3,000; MSA Professional Services will prepare a separate contract for services; and,
WHEREAS, this General Services Agreement is renewable at the beginning of every fiscal year; and,
WHEREAS, the funding source for this General Services Agreement is 001-650-6407, City Hall
Engineering, unless otherwise assigned.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIVERDALE, IOWA,
Section 1. The City Council of Riverdale authorizes the engagement of MSA Professional Services for
engineering services in an amount not to exceed sixteen thousand dollars ($16,000.00).
