The Electrical Board of Examiners and Review met March 5, 2019, in the Small Conference
Room of the John G. Christy Municipal Building. The meeting was called to order by
Bill Luebbert at 4:05 p.m. A quorum was present.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES FROM THE JANUARY 8, 2019 MEETING
A motion was made by Chris Bruemmer and seconded by Fred Gladbach to approve the
minutes of the January 8, 2019 meeting. Motion passed by show of hands.
REVIEW EXAM TESTING APPLICATIONS
• A motion was made by Joel Vanderslice and seconded by Fred Gladbach to approve
Brad Brewer to take the Journeyman Electrician Exam. Motion passed by a show of
hands.
• A motion was made by Chris Bruemmer and seconded by Sam Thomas to approve Chris
Granich to take the Journeyman Electrician Exam. Motion passed by a show of hands.
• A motion was made by Fred Gladbach and seconded by Joel Vanderslice to approve
Joshua Thomas to take the Journeyman Electrician Exam. Motion passed by a show of
hands.
• A motion was made by Sam Thomas and seconded by Chris Bruemmer to approve
Brandon Muenks to take the Journeyman Electrician Exam. Motion passed by a show of
hands.

• A motion was made by Joel Vanderslice and seconded by Fred Gladbach to approve
Christopher Giraldo to take the Journeyman Electrician Exam. Motion passed by a show
of hands.
• A motion was made by Joel Vanderslice and seconded by Fred Gladbach to approve
Zach Bedsworth to take the Journeyman Electrician Exam. Motion passed by a show of
hands.
• A motion was made by Chris Bruemmer and seconded by Joel Vanderslice to approve
Jacob Massman to take the Master Electrician Exam. Motion passed by a show of
hands.
REVIEW LICENSE APPLICATIONS
• A motion was made by Fred Gladbach and seconded by Sam Thomas to approve Seth
Webb to receive his Journeyman Electrician License. Motion passed by show of hands.
• A motion was made by Joel Vanderslice and seconded by Sam Thomas to approve
Richard Conti to receive his Master Electrician License. Motion was tabled until proof of
licensing in another jurisdiction is received.
• A motion was made by Chris Bruemmer and seconded by Sam Thomas to approve
Benny Stallings to receive his Master Electrician License. Motion passed by show of
hands.
OLD BUSINESS
None
NEW BUSINESS
• Members discussed the proposed bill which will require licensed Electrical Contractors
to submit proof, to the City, of adequate workers' compensation and general liablility
insurance. The proposed bill would also implement a 3 -year license renewal
requirement for Master and Journeymen Electricians, which would begin in 2021.
• A motion to approve the bill was made by Fred Gladbach and seconded by Sam Thomas.
Motion passed unanimously by a show of hands.
SCHEDULE NEXT MEETING
The Electrical Review Board's next meeting will be Tuesday, May 7, 2019. Board Members are
to meet at 4:00 p.m. in the Small Conference Room (aka Thomas Jefferson Conference Room).
ADJOURN
With no other business, the Board of Electrical Examiners and Review Meeting adjourned at
5:45 p.m.
