AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF RANCHO MIRAGE, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING SECTION
3.28,010 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
MIRAGE RELATING TO NEW CONSTRUCTION TAX.
The City Council of the City of Rancho Mirage,
California, does hereby ordain as follows:
Section 1: That subparagraph A of Section
3.28.010 of the Code of the City of Rancno Mirage,
California, be and the same is hereby amended to read
as follows:
"A. Dwelling Units. 'Dwelling unit' includes
each single family dwelling and each habitation unit
of an apartment, duplex or multiple dwelling structure
designed as a separate place for habitation or any
remodeling, modification or addition thereto, including
all areas under solid roofing."
Section 2: The City Clerk shall certify to the
passage hereof and this ordinance shall be effective
thirty (30) days after its passage.

Ordinance No. 268 was regularly introduced and placed
upon its first reading at a regular meeting of the City
Council on the 23 day of June , 1983. That,
thereafter, said ordinance was duly adopted and passed
at a regular meeting of the City Council on the 28th
day of July , 1983, by the following vote,
to wit:
