PLACE: Riverdale City Hall, 110 Manor Drive, Riverdale, Iowa
DATE: August 17, 2022 TIME: 5:30 p.m.
NOTE: A special meeting of the City Council was held in -person at the appointed time and day in accordance
with open meeting laws set and defined by the State of Iowa (Sections 21.2 and 21.8).
1. WELCOME
1.1 CALL TO ORDER - The meeting was called to order at 5:30 p.m., by Mayor Anthony Heddlesten.
1.2 ROLL CALL - Council Members present: Adams, DCamp, Halsey, Jurgena. Absent: Littrel. Also present:
Deputy Clerk Kelly Krell, and a member of the public during the open session portion of the meeting.
1.3 AGENDA APPROVAL - Motion from DCamp, seconded by Adams, to approve the agenda. All ayes.

2. ADJOURN TO CLOSED SESSION
Motion by DCamp, seconded by Adams, to move into closed session per Iowa State Code 21.5(1)(i), to
evaluate the professional competency of an individual whose appointment, hiring, performance, or
discharge is being considered when necessary to prevent needless and irreparable injury to that individual's
reputation and that individual requests a closed session. Roll call vote:
Adams: Aye
DCamp: Aye
Halsey: Aye
Jurgena: Aye
All ayes; motion carried. Council moved into closed session at 5:35 p.m.
3.
RECONVENE TO OPEN SESSION
Motion by Adams, seconded by DCamp, to reconvene into open session. Roll call vote:
Adams: Aye
DCa m p: Aye
Halsey: Aye
Jurgena: Aye
All ayes; motion carried. Council moved into open session at 5:55 p.m,
4. ACTION RELATED TO RESULT OF CLOSED SESSION
The Mayor will move forward with previous actions per Resolution passed on August 12, 2022.
5. ADJOURNMENT
Motion by Adams, seconded by DCamp. All ayes. MC. The special meeting of the City Council was formally
adjourned at 6:05 p.m.
