A RESOLUTION CHANGING THE SEPTEMBER 13, 2022,
COUNCIL MEETING TO SEPTEMBER 6, 2022
WHEREAS, the City of Riverdale, Iowa ("City") is a municipal corporation, organized and operating under
the laws of the State of Iowa; and,
WHEREAS, the next regularly scheduled council meeting is September 13, 2022, at 7:00 p.m., at City Hall,
110 Manor Drive, Riverdale, Iowa; and,
WHEREAS, Canadian Pacific is holding a public input session on increased rail traffic in the Quad Cities on
the same date during the same timeframe as the September 13, 2022, council meeting; and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council members wish to attend the Canadian Pacific public input session; and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council members are amenable to rescheduling the council meeting from
September 13, 2022, to September 6, 2022, at the same time and location as mentioned above; and,
WHEREAS, Resolution 2017-17, Resolution Changing the Days of Regular City Council Meetings, sets the
days of the month for Council meetings and provides Council the latitude to change these meetings by
Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Riverdale, Iowa, that:
Section 1: The September 13, 2022, council meeting is rescheduled to September 6, 2022, at 7:00
p.m., at City Hall, 110 Manor Drive, Riverdale, Iowa.
Section 2: There will be no council meeting on September 13, 2022.
Section 3: The next regularly scheduled council meeting after September 6, 2022, will be on
September 27, 2022.
