Leesburg Parks & Recreation Department Hosts 9th Annual
Charity Dance and Food Drive on Friday, November 14, 2014
Proceeds to benefit Loudoun Interfaith Relief
Leesburg, VA (November 9, 2014) –The Town of Leesburg Parks and Recreation Department
has partnered with Loudoun Interfaith Relief to offer its 9th annual charity dance and food drive
at Ida Lee Park Recreation Center on Friday, November 14, 2014, from 7:00pm to 10:00pm.
The Charity Dance is a free event. Donations of non-perishable food and goods will be collected
in lieu of admission to be distributed through Loudoun Interfaith Relief. Monetary donations
will also be accepted.
The three hour event starts at 7:00pm with an introductory lesson featuring Rumba. Mixed
dancing will begin at 8:00pm and run until 10:00pm. Dance exhibitions will be given by Jason
Conrad (an instructor at Ida Lee) and students from the Ida Lee dance programs. Beginners are
welcome to come and try the various dances. This event is suitable for both singles and
couples. Casual dress is appropriate.
Loudoun Interfaith Relief is the largest and only nutritious food pantry in Loudoun County.
They serve local clients by providing the food necessary to prepare three balanced meals a day
