AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LYN6400D AMENDING
SECTION 11.76 OF THE LYNWOOD CITY CODE TO
ESTABLISH INCREASED AMOUNTS AS PERMIT FEES FOR
THE INSTALLATION OR ALTERATION OF ELECTRICAL
EQUIPMENT, AND AMENDING SECTION 25.5 OF THE
LYN6100D CITY CODE TO ESTABLISH INCREASED AMOUNTS
AS PERMIT FEES FOR THE INSTALLATION OR ALTERATION
OF' PLUMBING EQUIPMENT.
Be it ordained:
Sebtioh 1. Section 11..76 of the Lynwood City Code is amended
to read as follows:
"Before any permit is granted for the installation or
alteration of electrical equipment, the person making the application
for the permit shall pay to the City Clerk a fee in the amount
specified below:
For issuing each permit $ 3.00.
For each switch, light and receptacle 0...25
For each lighting £i~ture 0,25
For each permanently installed appliance
with 1/4 h.p. motor or less (i.e. range,
oven, garbage grinder, dishwasher, heater,
fan,. etc.) 1.00
For each .motor of not more than 1 h.p. 1.00.
For each motor of more than 1 h.p. but
not more,than 3 h.p. 1.50
For each motor of more than. 3 h.p. but
not more than 8 h.p. 2.00
For each motor of more than 8 h.p. but
not more than 15 h.p. 2.50
For each motor of more than 15 h.p. but
not more than 50 h.p. 3.00.
For each motor of more. than 50 h.p. but
not more than 100. h.p. 5.00..
For each motor of more than 100. h.p. 15.00
For each generator, transformer, or
Welder;. each K.V.A. capacity shall be
considered as 1 h.p, in a motor
For each-new service or change in service 3.00

For each temporary power pole (not including
light or receptacle outlets) $ 3.00
For each mercury arc lamp and equipment 3.00
For each X-ray unit and its ap purtenances 3.00
For each projection machine or steriopticon 3.00
For each electric sign 3.00
For each. extra inspection made necessary
du e to defective materials or workmanship 3.00
For the inspection of any electrical
equipment for which no .fee is herein
prescribed, per hour for time consumed 10.00
Seetion_ 2. Section 25.5 of the Lynwood City Code is amended
to read as follows:
"Before any permit is granted for the installation or
alteration of plumbing equipment,. the person making the application
for the permit shall pay to the City Clerk a fee in the amount
specified below:
For issuing each permit 3.00
For each plumbing. fixture or trap or set .
of fixtures on one trap (including water,
drainage piping and backflow prevention
therefor) 1.50
For each building sewer 5.00
For each private sewage disposal system 10.00.
For each saddle connection to the public
sewer 25.00
For each alteration, repair or abandonment
of any disposal system or building sewer 3.00
For each industrial waste pre-treatment
interceptor, including its trap and vent,
excepting kitchen type grease interceptors
functioning as fixture-traps ~ 5.00
For each gas piping system 3.00.
For each water .heater and/or vent 1.50
For installation, alteration or. .repair of
water piping system 1.50
For each water treating appliance 1.50
For repair or alteration of drainage or vent
piping 1.50
For each swimming pool plumbing system 10..00
For each 7awnsprin'-~;lersystem on any one

water meter including backflow protection
devices therefor 2.00
For each vacuum breaker or backflow protective
device including necessary water piping 2.00
For each extra inspection made necessary
due to defective materials or workmanship 3.00..
Sebtioh 3. The City Clerk is hereby ordered and directed
to certify to the passage of this ordinance and to cause the same
to be published once in the Lynwood Press, a newspaper of general
circulation, printed, published and circulated in the -City of Lynwood.
First .read at a regular meeting of the City Council of
said city held on the lst day of October 1868,, and finally
adopted and ordered published at a regular meeting of said Council
held on the 15th day of October 1868, by the following
vote:
Ayes: Councilmen Byork; Green; Siokos; Smith; Stevens
Noes: Councilmen None
Absent: Councilmen None.
