AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING
THE ANNEXATION OF 'THAT CERTAIN TERRITORY IN THE
COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES LYING WESTERLY, SOUTHERLY
AND NORTHERLY OF THE EXISTISdG CITY BOUNDARY,
KNOWN AS "NIONA BOULEVARD ANNEXATION N0. L "
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 35015 and Section 54787.1
Government Code, the City Council of the City of Lynwood adopted
Resolution No. 6g-16 on March 18, 1969, initiating proceedings for
the annexation of certain uninhabited territory lying westerly,
southerly and northerly of the existing city boundary, in the
County of Los Angeles, State of California, and hereinafter particularly
described, and
WHEREAS, an application to initiate proceedings for
annexation was filed with the Local Agency Formation Commission on
March lg, 1969, and
WHEREAS, all of the land owners requested, in writing,
inclusion within the proposal to annex said territory, and
WHEREAS, on May 14, 1969, the Local Agency Formation
Commission adopted a resolution approving the annexation of territory
hereinafter described and authorizing the City of Lynwood to proceed
without notice, hearing and election pursuant to said Section 54797.1
of the Government Code, and
6JHEREAS, said City Council approves the annexation of
said territory to the City of Lynwood, and
WHEREAS, all proceedings have been in conformity with
law,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does ordain as follows:
Section 1. That pursuant to Section 35015 and Section
54797.1 of the Government Code, the annexation of that certain
territory contiguous to the City of Lynwood in the County of Los

Angeles, State of California, designated as ''Mona Boulevard PQo.
1" as hereinafter described, hereby is approved.
Beginning at an angle point in the boundary of
the City of Lynwood as same existed on March 18,
1969, said angle point being a point in the westerly
line of the parcel of land marked "Omri J. Bulbs
100.495 acres" on map of the Bullis Land recorded
in Book 3, page 399 of Miscellaneous Records, in
the office of the Recorder of the County of Los
Angeles, distant North 11°45' West thereon
1692.90 feet from the southwesterly corner of
said parcel of land; thence along said boundary
of the City of Lynwood the following courses:
N 82°16'10° E 586.08 ft, N 11°45' W 333.93 ft.,
and S 82°26' W 586.11 ft, thence leaving said
boundary of the City of Lynwood S 11°45' E 335.61
ft to the point of beginning.
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby ordered and directed
to certify to the passage of this ordinance and to cause the same
to be published once in the Lynwood Press, a newspaper of general
circulation printed, published, and circulated in the City of
Lynwood.
First read at a regular meeting of the City Council of
said City held on the 20th day of May, 1968, finally adopted and
ordered published at a regular meeting of said Council held on the
3rd day of June, 1969, by the following vote:

Lynwood, and ex-officio clerk of the Council of said
city, do hereby certify that the above is a true and
correct copy of Ordinance No. 865 adopted by the City
Council of the City of Lynwood, and that same was passed
on the date and by the vote therein stated.
