ORDINANCE N0. 847
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD AMENDING CHAPTER XII,
SECTION 12.01, "SIZEo', AND SECTION 12.04,
- (e), "M-1 AND N~-2 ZONES", OF ORDINANCE
No• 570, AS AMENDED, TO REVISE PARKING
SPACE REQUIREMENTS.
The City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
ordain as follows:
Seotion 1. That Chapter XII of Ordinance No. 570,
as amended, is hereby amended to revise the parking space
requirements:
"Section 12.01. SIZE: Each off street parking
space shall be not less than eighteen feet in length and
nine feet in width, exclusive of service or access drives
and/or isles, and shall be of surfaced and permanently
maintained condition, except that a parking zone space
required to be located in a building shall be not less than
twenty feet in length and ten feet in width."
Section 12..04. MINIMUM OFF-STREET PARKING REQUIRE-
MENTS: (c) M-1 and M-2 Zones. One space for each 500 hundred
square feet of gross floor area shall be required in an M-1
or a M-2 Zone."
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby ordered and
directed to certify to the passage of this ordinance and to
cause the same to be published once in the Lynwood Press, a
newspaper of general circulation, printed, published, and
circulated in the City of Lynwood.
First read at a regular meeting of the City Council
o£ said city held on the 2lstday of I~iay 1968, and finally
adopted and ordered published at a regular meeting of said
council held on the 5th day of June 1g6g by the following
vote:
